3616 Personnel Ready to Security FIFA U-17 World Cup in Surakarta, Security Carried Out Humanely and Proportionally

Surakarta, Indonesia – The Central Java Regional Police has alerted 3616 personnel to secure a series of under-17 FIFA World Cup matches which will be held at the Manahan stadium in Surakarta.

Central Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi led a troop readiness rally which was held in the Surakarta city square, Thursday (9/11/2023)

Ahmad Luthfi emphasized that his party is ready to secure the FIFA Under 17 World Cup in a humane and proportional manner. Every security personnel deployed has received adequate training

He said that security was carried out comprehensively at the training ground, Manahan Stadium as the match venue, spectators, players and accommodation for each participating country.

He also appealed to the public to maintain security and order by being good hosts at this world-class event. This will show the world that Indonesia is capable of being a good host during the U-17 World Cup.

“Let’s be good hosts. Let’s watch this international event. We support it in a sporting manner. So that it becomes a spirit for the world of football on the international stage and in Indonesia,” he said.
